During Toddler Swimming, the little ones playfully train moving about in the water.
Fortunately, children are curious by nature and love searching for new experiences in movement.
Apart from training their motor skills Toddler Swimming helps children to keep calm in the water instead of panicking, and to safely stay on top. That’s important in case toddlers get into a dangerous situation when unattended for a moment at home or out in nature.
One of the course's purposes is to prepare kids on how to react when falling into the water unexpectedly. That is why the children walk over wobbly bridges or swim with their T-shirts on in the lessons. Thus ‘prepared’ children will be able to better master dangerous situations in the water.
Depending on their age and skill level, we address the children's needs.
Beginners are being introduced to the element water through games and exercises. Thus, the positive aspects such as joy, courage but also respect outweigh everything else. Furthermore, it forms the basis for learning breast stroke.
Learning breast stroke is the main goal in case of advanced swimmers. Safety awareness and diving skills are also taught. In addition, both beginners and advanced divers can use the programme contents of the "Wasserspringflöhe" for the development of coordination.
Every child wants to make a dream come true and swim and dive like a mermaid. At Sonnentherme, your kids can learn how to swim like a mermaid.

“No diving from the edge!” This prohibition is suspended for the duration of the “Wasserspringflöhe” programme at Sonnentherme. Header, somersault, propeller – our team teaches the kids the art of diving.
Our team shows the kids aged 4-10 how to properly dive into the water! For children, diving from the edge of the pool is great fun. To make sure it’s not also dangerous, they are taught coordination and body tension.
In the framework of the “Wasserspringflöhe Mini“ (4-7 years) and “Wasserspringflöhe Maxi“ (7-10 years) all future diving champions will be provided with the best tips and tricks. In order to learn the art of diving, your kid will need swimming skills and courage. Fun and action are guaranteed!
